This an example of ear pinning, or otoplasty, in a young male patient from San Diego. He desired to have his ears reshaped to assume a less prominent position. This was accomplished with an office-based procedure under local anesthesia. Note how his ears are now much closer to his head as well as being more symmetric when comparing the two sides.
