This is an example of revision open rhinoplasty in a patient who had prior rhinoplasty by a different plastic surgeon. Following her first surgery, she was left with unwanted notching and scarring of her nostrils with collapse of the tip cartilage. This left her with obvious asymmetry of the tip cartilage. In addition, her bridge was left crooked from the first surgery. Dr. Hilinski performed open revision rhinoplasty along with bilateral ear grafts. He straightened the bridge as well as reshaped and reprojected the tip to achieve much more symmetry. Following surgery, notice overall improvement, particularly in the tip region. This was accomplished while avoiding an obvious surgical look and maintaining a natural, ethnically consistent appearance. Also note how close Dr. Hilinski was able to approximate her predicted result as demonstrated in the computer imaged photo.
