This patient from Arizona flew in to San Diego to have Dr. Hilinski perform a revision open rhinoplasty with cartilage grafting. Following prior rhinoplasty by a different plastic surgeon, he was left with obvious collapse of the lower half of his nose. This is quite evident on lateral view where his nose appears to drop off. On frontal view one can easily appreciate the poor tip definition and the excessively wide appearance. These photos demonstrate a nearly three-year result that shows a marked improvement in the bridge height and tip projection. Note how he has a natural looking dorsal convexity that is consistent with his ethnic background. This patient also had bilateral otoplasty to reduce excessively prominent ears.
