This female patient had prior surgery by another plastic surgeon and desired further reshaping. Her main concerns were a persistently wide bridge, over-rotated tip, and asymmetry of the nostrils with stenosis (narrowing) involving her right nostril opening. Dr. Hilinski performed an open revision septorhinoplasty with temporal fascia grafting. He narrowed the bridge and brought down the tip to achieve a more feminine appearance. In addition, he corrected the right nostril stenosis using several cartilage grafts to achieve more tip symmetry as well as helping to improve her breathing capacity. Note more open right nostril following surgery (best seen on base and frontal views). These photos demonstrate overall improvement at over one year following revision rhinoplasty.
