Example of combined reconstructive and cosmetic rhinoplasty in this male patient from San Diego. As would be expected from his preoperative photos, he had significant difficulty breathing through his left nostril due to a severe deviation of the septum to the left side. This contributed to his tip deviating toward the right side with an obvious, crooked tip appearance as seen on preoperative frontal view. Following an open septorhinoplasty, notice marked improvement in nostril shape, size and symmetry. This was accompanied by a significant improvement in his nasal breathing. Also notices well-healed open rhinoplasty incision, which is barely visible even on close-up view. Also note improved tip position with less asymmetry seen postoperatively. Finally, note improved bridge contour on lateral view while maintaining a strong masculine appearance
