This is another example of laser resurfacing, or laser surgery, to help correct rhinophyma of the nose. Rhinophyma is a skin condition that creates an overly bulbous appearance to the nose. I used a CO2 laser to help sculpt the lower one half of his nose – creating a much more normal looking contour and shape. You can see from the bottom view that I was also able to get his nostrils more open by taking away some of the overlying heavy, weighted skin.
