Example of macrotia surgery to reduce an excessively large scapha in this male patient. Notice how both ears are now much smaller following the scapha reduction procedure. Of note, this patient had prior cosmetic otoplasty by a different plastic surgeon that left the upper half of the ear still too large for the patient’s liking. I incorporated his prior helical scar into the macrotia repair.
