Since the fillers, like Juvederm Vollure, contain lidocaine within the gel substance, the pain is minimal – and is less and less as more of the filler is injected. The lower eyelid hollowing and shadowing is carefully filled out using Juvederm Vollure to try and create a slight convexity to the skin surface. This helps restore lost volume, which can be a tell-tale sign of aging especially in the lower eyelid region.
