Bigger Lips With Filler

Some people wonder how much filler do we typically place in somone’s lips? The answer is – usually 1 syringe of Restylane or Juvederm – or less. However, there are definitely patients out there who desire more volume than that to give them even fuller, plumper lips. Most of these Restylane and Juvederm filler patients tend to be on the younger side. This is a great example of what it looks like when lips are filled with more and more volume. This patient happens to be one of my office staff members. On the left side of the photo is her appearance prior to having any lip filler placed. I then added about 1 syringe of filler to produce the results seen in the middle photograph. Personally, I really like this size and shape when it comes to lip filler. You can see that her upper and lower lip are plumper and more shapely with a great balance between the upper and lower. But that wasn’t enough for her! She wanted more – especially in her upper lip. So I added another syringe of filler to create the result seen in the right photograph. Now this one clearly has a much bigger, poutier lip. Not exactly what I prefer – but she is utterly happy with her new, much bigger lips!
