Juvederm is one of the most popular injectable fillers to plump and reshape lips. Juvederm Ultra XC is a specific type of Juvederm that is commonly requested by patients coming over from Coronado. This particular lip plumper – like many of our injectable fillers – contains lidocaine, which makes it much more comfortable for patients seeking fuller lips.
Here is an actual patient example of what Juvederm Ultra XC can do for lips that are in need of more volume and shape. This young lady consulted with our med spa staff because she wanted an injectable filler to give her fuller, plumper lips. This is often times referred to as non-surgical lip enhancement since there is no cutting or surgery involved. During the procedure, a tiny hypodermic needle is used to inject the upper and lower lip in various, strategic areas to increase the lip volume. By plumping up the lips, it gives more of a feminine shape, which is a common request among injectable filler patients. In this particular case, the upper lip started off being much smaller than the lower. Ideally, the upper lip should be smaller than the lower – but not this much. So for this patient, it was recommended she get Juvederm Ultra XC to fill out the upper lip more than the lower lip. In doing so, she would achieve more balance.
As you can see here for yourself, she had a beautiful, immediate improvement in the shape and size of her lips as a result of the Juvederm Ultra XC. Her upper lip was filled out a bit more than the lower – helping her get that nearly ideal balance.
